More Customized Responses
Besides adding new locations and languages, Bard has new updates regarding having better response times. These updates included having the ability to listen to responses and adjust them.
Listening to Responses
Sometimes hearing something out loud can be more beneficial than reading it on a screen. In over 40 languages, Bard can read their answers to you out loud. Simply click the sound icon to do so.
Adjusting Responses
Another update is having more customizable responses by adjusting them. You can add the tone and style of Bard’s answers to 5 different options:
- Simple
- Long
- Short
- Professional
- Casual
Currently, this feature is only live in English and will expand to new languages at a later date.
Increasing Productivity
Along with all of these new updates and features we’ve just mentioned, we still have 4 more new features to review! These features aim to help customers increase productivity and respond to user preferences about using the platform.
Pin and Rename Conversations
To help users revisit prompts, Bard now has the ability to pin a conversation to come back to it at a later time. To make things even easier, you’re now able to rename conversations. This feature is now live in over 40 languages.
Exporting Code
Google has mentioned that Bard has been used a lot for coding purposes. To help accommodate coders, this new feature allows users to export Python code to Replit in addition to Google Colab. This feature is live in over 40 languages.
Sharing Responses
Bard has added shareable links to help share ideas and prompts that Bard has given users to share with their friends. This feature is live in over 40 languages.
Using Images in Prompts
Sometimes images help describe or explain what we’re trying to convey in our prompts. Now Google lets you do this! Google is bringing Google Lens into Bard to help better understand and improve using images within prompts. This feature is now live in English and will be available to other languages at a later time.
